Monthly Flat Rate Subscription
In most cases, lessons are weekly which makes charging a flat monthly rate a little more complicated. For example, if your lesson day is on Monday, then in 2017, the months of Jan, May, July, and Oct, will have 5 lessons instead of the normal 4 lessons in a month. So to compensate for the occasional extra lesson, but still charge a flat monthly rate, the monthly price is a little higher than the 4-week lesson price. Lastly, there are a few more stipulations for refunded lessons with a monthly flat rate.
- Charged on the same day every month
- Same flat rate wether your lesson day gets 4 or 5 lessons that month
Any lessons that your teacher canceled and can't be made up, will qualify for a refund, but refunds for a 5-week month will go off how many lessons you got, not how many lessons you didn't get.
- The following example prices are based on the flat monthly rate of $90 for a month of weekly 30-minute in-home lessons
- 4-week month: miss one lesson and get refunded $20 because you missed one lesson valued at $20
- 5-week month: miss one lesson and get refunded $10 because you got 4 lessons valued at $80
If none of the options we provided above are a good fit for you, just let us know, and we’ll create your own customized lesson payment plan!
Regular attendance is important to the success of the student, so we ask that you make every effort to attend all lessons.
If you need to cancel a lesson with your teacher, please contact them directly no later than 6 hours before your scheduled lesson time to be eligible for a make up lesson.
Any lessons canceled that are eligible for a makeup lesson, automatically become a a make up lesson credit that you can use anytime.
- When going out of town here are some ways we recommend to help stay consistent, and get the most out of your lessons.
- If you are missing an entire week, we recommend scheduling a double lesson the week before you leave or the week after you return.
- * If you are missing two entire weeks, we recommend scheduling a double lesson the week before you leave and for the week after you return.
For in-home lessons (where the teacher drives to your home for the lesson) the teacher may arrive 15 minutes early or late.
For example, if your lesson is scheduled for 5pm plan on your teacher arriving between 4:45pm and 5:15pm.
