Common questions and answers

  • What is a subscription at A Major?

    Our payment system is online and subscription based. This basically means that tuition payments are made by card (debit or credit) and automatically deducted at regular intervals- every week, 2-weeks or 4-weeks. Charges are made on Sundays for the following Monday-Sunday week(s) following.

  • Holiday Policy:

    If your lesson falls on a holiday, please work with your instructor to schedule a makeup.

    Credit is given if student wants a makeup for a holiday & teacher is unable to provide the makeup.

  • When you have to cancel or reschedule a lesson:

    Call or text your teacher before the day of your lesson. This ensures you will receive a makeup lesson.

    Lessons cancelled on the day of the lesson aren't eligible for a makeup and are forfeited.

  • How should I contact?

    Contact the office when you need to change your payment or subscription, when you have any questions about policy, payment, concerns of any kind, or suggestions. (login to cancel)

    Contact your teacher if you have questions about the content of lessons or songs, or if you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson's regular time.

  • Switching Teachers

    All our teachers are trained the same way so if you need to switch teachers for any reason the new A Major teacher will have the same teaching style.

  • Gift Certificate

    You can get a gift certificate online! We'll give you a login where you can pay online and then we'll email you the gift certificate to print out or you can pick it up from your teacher or at our studio.
