She continued to take piano lessons until high school when she joined her high school’s marching band, which she continued for the next four years. In high school, she was a three-time qualifier for the Missouri State Solo and Small Ensemble competition.

Her love of music grew through high school and she decided to continue her education at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. She is currently finishing up her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance with two endorsements in K-8 and 5-12 Music Education. Throughout college, she participated in many ensembles and performance opportunities that have helped her grow as a musician and educator. She is a three-time placer in the Anthony Hyde Solo Scholarship Competition during her time at Graceland.

Piano lessons in St. Louis, Missouri

Private piano lessons build coordination, reading skills, and musical confidence at the keyboard—whether you are starting from scratch, returning after years away, or aiming for more advanced repertoire.

In Piano lessons, students typically work on:

  • Healthy posture, hand position, and efficient practice habits
  • Reading music, rhythm, and basic theory that unlock songs faster
  • Scales, chords, and patterns used in classical, pop, and worship styles
  • Repertoire you actually want to play, paced for your age and goals

Lessons are one-on-one. Start with a free trial, then continue on a schedule that works for you. Teachers are professionally trained, background-checked, and chosen for teaching personality—not only performance ability. We are currently serving St. Louis and nearby metro communities (including overlap with the St. Charles area where helpful).

St. Louis metro students juggle school, sports, and long travel days—so scheduling and teacher fit matter as much as technique. We work with you to find a sustainable lesson plan in the area.
